Ireportnews can confirm that, a Federal High Court in Abuja has declared Senator Andy Uba’s and the All Progressive Congress’ participation in the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State null and void.

In a decision issued on Monday, Justice Inyang Eden Ekwo ruled that Uba was never a candidate in the election, having emerged from an illegally conducted primary election by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to Justice Ekwo, the plaintiff, George Moghalu, was successful in demonstrating that the APC did not hold a valid primary election from which Uba claimed to have emerged as the party’s candidate.
