Muazu Brahji, an official of the Yobe State Government is dead.
He was the Director of Human Resources at the Ministry of Health.
Brahji died at the Yobe Specialist Hospital Isolation Centre in Damaturu, the state capital.
His brother, Ubaliyo Abubakar told Daily Trust that Brahji died after he was taken to the facility.
Abubakar disclosed that Brahji passed on while awaiting the result of coronavirus test.
Yobe does not have COVID-19 Testing Centres yet.
Health officials, for now, take samples collected to Abuja or Borno for testing.
