Rhema Akpofure, the husband of Tega Akpofure, a deceased member of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) musical group ‘The Gratitude,’ has spoken out about his wife’s death.

Tega Akpofure recently lost her pregnancy. She was reportedly informed by an unnamed hospital that she was pregnant with twins, but she kept the news from her husband until she died.

On Tega’s death, a former choir coordinator at COZA, Nnenna Kalu-Ude, called out the church’s founder, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, and others.

Nnenna claimed on her Instagram page that the church mistreated Tega and other members.

She claimed that anyone who dared to speak out about the “evil” going on in the church would become ill or die mysteriously.
In response to the allegation, Rhema Akpofure advised anyone having problems with the COZA pastor and others to drop the name Tega.

“Good day, everyone. Hello, my name is Rhema Akpofure, and I am the late Tega’s husband. When I turned on my phone, I was astounded to see a slew of texts from various people “, he explained.

“My wife had a beautiful soul and was an amazing person, and her pastors were kind to her and me. Yes, she was a Gratitude member who served in COZA, Abuja.

“My wife had no intention of ever leaving COZA.

“There were better plans, so please, I beg you, disregard everything you see online.” Biodun Fatoyinbo is a good man, and every other name that has been tagged there is a beautiful soul.
