A bundle of tiny lifeless birds handed off as dog food was once confiscated through Customs brokers at a Virginia airport.
U.S. Customs and Border Coverage says the bundle got here in to Dulles Global Airport on a flight from Beijing on Jan. 27.
Brokers found out the bag of lifeless birds within the luggage of a passenger who was once on their approach to Prince George’s County, Maryland.
The passenger mentioned the bundle was once cat meals. The plastic packaging had footage of a cat and canine.
The birds are barred from importation to stop the unfold of avian flu.
