Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, the esteemed founder of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), recently celebrated his 70th birthday with a vibrant event held on September 18, 2024, at NAGAFF’s Headquarters in Lagos.
Ezisi, a prominent figure in the organization, remarked, “When discussing freight forwarding in Nigeria, mentioning Dr. Boniface Aniebonam is essential. Officially turning 70 on September 15, 2024, we wish him continued strength to support all Freight Forwarders in Nigeria.”
Dr. Aniebonam has made significant strides in the maritime sector, particularly in advocacy, policy formulation, and capacity building.
He has been a strong advocate for enhancing maritime education and training in Nigeria, aiming to develop a skilled workforce that meets the industry’s evolving demands. His efforts have resulted in educational programs aligned with international maritime standards.
His contributions have greatly influenced the growth and development of Nigeria’s maritime industry, emphasizing sustainability, safety, and professionalism.
