The prime ministers of Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, as well as Moldova, in observer status, participate in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EAEU) in Minsk on July 17, Belarusian news agency Belta reported. The face-to-face summit will be the first since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The heads of government will discuss issues of trade, the functioning of the internal market, competition and industry. Also, on the agenda is a plan of measures in the field of healthcare to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the EAEU countries.
In addition, the prime ministers will consider a draft interstate programme for cooperation between countries in the provision of space and geoinformation services based on Earth remote sensing.
The summit will discuss the development of the EAEU agroindustry and the industrialization of the union.
