NUR-SULTAN, Kazakhstan – Kazakhstan has provided 46 cargos of humanitarian aid to Afghan people, Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry said on June 22.

The humanitarian cargo, which was delivered in 46 wagons in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological standards, includes 1900 tonnes of flour, 500 tonnes of pasta, 4,000 litres of sunflower oil and 200,000 cans of condensed milk, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan said on June 22.

The official event was attended by representatives of the administration of the Balkh province of Afghanistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Afghanistan. These food products will be distributed by the government among the needy regions of the country.
