Delta Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has expressed condolences to his Sokoto State counterpart, Gov. Aminu Tambuwal, on the death of his elder brother, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello.
Okowa’s condolences were expressed in a statement issued on Thursday in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika.
He said he mourned with the Tambuwal family, community, and people of Sokoto State for the death of the octogenarian and community leader.
He stated that late Bello lived an impactful life and urged the family to be comforted by his legacies.
Okowa praised the deceased for being a good man and community leader.
He urged the family to take solace in the fact that he had lived to witness his brother’s outstanding achievements as Speaker of the House of Representatives and now governor of Sokoto state.
“We were shocked to learn of your elder brother’s death, but we are comforted by the fact that he lived a life of dedicated service to God and humanity.”
