Ruth Kadiri, a Nollywood star, has stated that Nigerians do not require assistance, stating that there is no need to fight for people who do not wish to be fought for.
The actress wrote a short piece on her verified Instagram page about how clout chasers react when a politician is called out on social media.
“How do you fight for people who don’t want to be fought for?” Ruth Kadiri asked.
“How do you defend people who tell you to rest after two posts on social media about you fighting for their cause?”
“The only thing they’re interested in reading about is how a celebrity’s marriage ended.” and how an actress is having an affair with a married man.
Ruth Kadiri’s coworkers also took to the comment section to share their thoughts on the matter.
Mary Njoku, another actress, stated, “Do not help anyone who does not want to be helped.” Except for your kids. Dem don’t make horses drink water.
“I’m sure there are a lot of other people who would appreciate it.” Concentrate your efforts on them.
“Nigeria’s fight will not be over until you do your part for your great, great-grandchildren (the journey is long) and leave the rest to other Patriots.”
Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, also commented, saying, “For while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!” The Jews who crucified Christ did not want his assistance for mankind, but they required it. That’s the way the world is for you.”
