Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South and was a key member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has died. According to SaharaReporters, Ubah passed away at a hotel in London, where he had traveled two days earlier.
The news of his death was confirmed in a group chat among senators, who have begun paying tribute.
This comes shortly after Ubah’s campaign council donated ₦71 million to the APC in Anambra State, including ₦50 million from Ubah himself, aimed at bolstering the party’s influence in the region.
The Senate has not yet issued a statement on the matter.
