Italian politician and former Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi has tested positive for Coronavirus, his personal doctor said on Wednesday.
“He is asymptomatic and isolating at home,” Alberto Zangrillo, said in a statement, adding that the test was taken due to Berlusconi’s recent stay in Sardinia.
During his holidays in Sardinia, the President of the Forza Italia party had also met the entrepreneur Flavio Briatore, who also tested positive last week and was hospitalized for a few days at the San Raffaele hospital.
Berlusconi continues to work and is under quarantine in his villa in Arcore.
