The Sokoto State Government has announced the death of one coronavirus patient in the State.
The announcement was made by the Sokoto State Ministry of Health in a tweet via its Twitter handle on Friday.
The tweet read”COVID19 UPDATE!
“Unfortunately, 1 COVID19 death was recorded at our Amanawa Isolation centre.
“This brings the total number of COVID19 related deaths in Sokoto to 9.
“Residents are advised to keep calm and stay safe.”
Meanwhile, the State Government has confirmed that four new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the State.
