Gunmen suspected to be bandits have killed seven other people and 5 others injured all over an assault on Rimau village in Kajuru Native executive of Kaduna State.

The incident took place on Wednesday round 9.15pm in Rimau, Kajuru Native Executive House (LGA), about twelve months after bandits attacked and killed a number of other people in Ungwar Barde and Iri communities in Kajuru LGA.

Ungwar Barde and Iri communities have been attacked on February 10 and 11, 2019 respectively.

The police government are but to substantiate the new assault in Rimau village.

However, the Chairman of Kajuru LGA, Cafra Caino, informed DAILY POST on Thursday night that the gunmen stormed the village marketplace sq. at about 7pm with a Golfing Volkswagen automobile.

He defined that they opened fireplace at the investors and patrons on the marketplace and within the procedure, shot six males and a lady to loss of life whilst five others sustained accidents from gunshots.

The sound of the gunshots, in step with the chairman, brought about the investors to desert their wares and scampered for protection.

He added {that a} crew of squaddies and cellular policemen had been deployed to the neighborhood to stop to any extent further assault.

Caino famous that the our bodies of the slain sufferers had been deposited on the mortuary whilst the injured ones had been taken to the clinic for remedy.
