A viral video has surfaced online showing Guaranty Trust Bank Ltd (GTBank), the banking subsidiary of Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc(GTCO Plc) staff allegedly using multiple ATM cards to withdraw cash for their friends.
This was gathered on tweeter after a customer posted video from the scene.
The customer wrote: “While Nigerians are suffering from endless queues at different ATM machines across the country, the staffs of GTBank branch in Maraba gathered 5-6 debit cards and took over ATM machine in the branch to withdraw for their friends“.
Another customer wrote: “Face of GTB maraba staff that collided with other staffs to program the machine to pay them 100,000 while they deceived people that they want to repair the machine.
Then they used plenty ATM cards to withdraw“.
Recall that this is coming following the biting scarcity of the new naira notes at Automated Teller Machine points, ATMs, as people now struggle to withdraw money.
