NUR-SULTAN, Kazakhstan – The Kazakh authorities will provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. The corresponding government decree of July 20 was published in the information system of regulatory legal acts Adilet.

According to the document, 500 sleeping bags, 50 winter tents, 500 beds each, blankets, jackets, trousers, 400 hats and bed linen will be sent to Afghanistan.

Also, 600 tonnes of flour, 250 tonnes of buckwheat, 100,000 litres of vegetable oil, 50,000 cans of canned milk will be delivered to Uzbekistan.

The government of Kazakhstan decided to re-reserve material assets from the state material reserve for the provision of official humanitarian aid.

The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development should ensure the transportation and delivery of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
